Brilliant PR & Marketing, one of the most respected and rapidly growing agencies focused on family-oriented brands, seeks a Full-time Family & Parenting Social Media Specialist to help support the agency’s growing, award-winning team.

So what’s Brilliant all about? We are a unique PR agency with nearly 30 team members who all work remotely across the US. We give our team the resources they need to get their work done without having to sit in a cubicle or stuffy office. From costume contests to virtual happy hours and Slack GIFs, we prioritize connecting with each other and creating a sense of community. Although we are remote, team members are expected to be available online during regular business hours, and there is occasional travel for events and trade shows. If applicable, this role of Social Media Content Coordinator will allow for adjusted working hours for being a parent.

- Must have real-world work experience creating social content and managing social media for family/parent CPG brands.
- Has had personal experience with late night, sleep-deprived infant feedings, stepping on legos and multitasking childcare management while juggling a career.
- Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space
- Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube and is up to date on parenting hacks, pop culture and trends.
- Has a test & learn mentality. Willing to actively participate in brainstorms and isn’t afraid to speak up and offer new ideas.
- Creative, witty writer who is a passionate strategic thinker excited about helping clients increase brand awareness through the use of organic social.
What You’ll Do:
Job Description:
- Develop, curate, and create engaging written, video, and photo content for social media platforms for Family & Parenting brands.
- Lead the day-to-day community management, specifically publishing and engagement, of all assigned client social media accounts.
- Assist in the development and management of a results-driven social media strategy focusing on building audience and extending brand engagement, ultimately building brand equity.
- Responsible for daily community management of client social media channels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create an organic editorial calendar the drives brand awareness and builds community through meaningful engagement
- Test and learn different messaging, tactics and strategies while staying up to date on new social media tools and best practices, competitive activity and industry approaches to the channels.
- Publish monthly reports detailing social analytics across all assigned client channels including recommendations for improvement and action plans.
- Comfortable being the day-to-day client point of contact
Core Skills/Qualifications:
- Fluent in all social media platforms and familiar with social media management tools like Brandwatch, Sprout Social, Later or similar.
- Proficient in Canva or equivalent video and photo editing tools and digital media formats.
- Strong copywriting and copy editing skills
- Top-notch oral and verbal communication skills
- Impeccable time management skills with the ability to multitask
- Detail-oriented approach with ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

Salary: Depends on experience and skills . $45,000-$65,000 Annually.
