For this we are currently seeking an individual with outstanding work behaviors and a high standard of motivation to join the team as a Pharma Analytics Field Applications Scientist to cover the Benelux and Nordics Territory. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact as you provide remote and on-site application support to our customers as they apply our best-in-class solutions for lot-release and in-process quality control to their innovative and life-saving medicine. What you'll do

  • Coordinate and provide technical support for post-sales applications both on-site and remotely, offering consultancy, delivering training, and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with customers to efficiently implement Pharma Analytics solutions.
  • Ensure customer happiness by handling queries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical expertise on products and industry trends and develop key opinion leadership within the company and externally.
  • Act as the voice of our customers within the organization, influencing new product developments.
  • Provide technical feedback on problems and their solutions to the team, product management, and quality management.
  • Represent our solutions and services at conferences and other customer-facing events.
  • Provide presales support by leading customer-facing discussions on product specifications and conducting workflow demonstrations.

What you'll need:

  • A B.Sc or higher degree in Life Science or a relevant science subject. (M.Sc or PhD preferred)
  • Proven experience with molecular biology and genomic analytical techniques, particularly real-time PCR, digital PCR, Sanger sequencing, and/or capillary electrophoresis.
  • Familiarity in assay and workflow development, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of nucleic acid extraction techniques.
  • Basic understanding of regulations relevant to biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Previous experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is a bonus.
  • A high degree of technical competence.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization, collaborating with and reporting to multiple partners.
  • Eagerness to work independently in a virtual team with limited day-to-day supervision.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the territory and internationally. The role requires 50-75% of travelling.
  • Be fully proficient in English and another language relevant to the territory (i.e., Dutch, German, Danish, or Swedish). Proficiency in another language, especially French, can be an advantage.
  • Full and clean EU driving license.
  • Knowledge and experience in process development, process validation, and/or pharmaceutical quality control are advantageous.
