All of our functions have an instrumental role within FARFETCH Group to drive forward a sustainable business, ensuring we set the guardrails for financial control and enable financial performance.

Our Porto office is located in Portugal's vibrant second city, known for its history and its creative yet cosy environment. You can have an informal meeting in the treehouse or play the piano during your lunch break!

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance Operations, you will have an important role in the financial operations of the business. Working with the finance team to achieve the department and team goals ensures efficient, timely, and accurate information.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Managing the team drives results in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure the review of appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment based on the control file
• Maintains accurate financial and control records 
• Supervise a team in an organization characterized by highly transactional processes
• Ensure that Partners accounts are reconciled to the accuracy of the data
• Guarantee that all the deadlines are met regarding the accounting monthly closing
• Ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting procedures
• Alignment and orientation to KPIs results

WHO YOU ARE

• Graduated in Accounting, Management, or a similar subject
• More than 6 years of professional experience in Finance Operations or Accounting, at least 1 managing a team
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Experienced with Microsoft Office, mainly Excel
• Support and guide team members to ensure they meet their targets and KPIs
• Generate reports on team performance and provide regular updates to senior management
• Able to easily build relationships with the different players of the business
