About The Role:

YipitData is looking for an inquisitive Finance Operations Specialist to join our Finance team. 

This is a unique opportunity to work at a high-growth FinTech company together with entrepreneurial yet supportive and cooperative colleagues.

In this role, you will utilize your exceptional accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and analytical skills to own and manage internal accounting processes as well as gain exposure to all elements of the accounting and reporting cycles in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarter is located), or anywhere in the US.

 As our Finance Operations Specialist, you will: 

• Review executed customer contracts and update internal Salesforce records
• Maintain internal product-level P&Ls
• Own and manage tech cost tracking and reporting
• Update and manage COGS allocations
• Own the review and approval process of employee expense reports
• Maintain the internal software connector between our CRM and accounting system
• Perform account reconciliations and analysis
• Assist with our yearly financial audit and other ad hoc projects

You are likely to succeed if you have: 

• At least 2 years experience as an accountant in a fast-paced environment (prior experience working at a start-up is a big plus!)
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Netsuite or other cloud-based accounting software
• Experience with Salesforce a plus
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Knowledge of GAAP

• The annual base salary for this position is anticipated to be $70K ~ $80K. The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks. The compensation package also includes equity.

This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.
