Job Description:

Cox Automotive is hiring a Financial Analysis, Senior Manager. This position is responsible for partnering with Fleet Services leadership to provide strategic thought leadership, influence decisions, and drive execution. This role will report into the Senior Director leading efforts in financial reporting and analysis activities for the Fleet Services business. This role will partner with business and finance leaders to influence and drive profitable growth within Fleet Services. This role is also responsible for the coordination and execution of the month end close, KPI reporting, annual operating budgets, and long-range strategic plans. It will provide the necessary thought leadership to effectively analyze, assess, and communicate financial results, risks, and opportunities.

Given Fleet Services rapid organic/inorganic revenue growth plan to $1B+, this role will provide expertise and execution in the areas of market insight, M&A, business cases, opportunity analysis, product profitability, and process improvement. This includes partnering across the broader finance organization and with key business stakeholders to optimize upstream and downstream processes and integrate improvements into operating plans and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and communication of the Fleet Services consolidated financial & operational results to executive leadership.

• Align with Fleet Services leadership on strategic priorities, financial commitments, key investments, and levers for profitable growth.

• Coordinate the annual LRP budgeting and strategic planning process.

• Consolidate the month end close results, provide P&L and capital spend oversight, deliver monthly financial and KPI reporting and analysis to explain drivers and trends, identify risks and opportunities.

• Provide business case modeling, resource capacity analysis, and investment planning, expertise to business partners and executive leadership to make informed strategic business decisions.

• Integrate the different Fleet Services business financials and KPI's into a common reporting and account structure.

• This role is also responsible for partnering with finance, leadership and key business partners to ensure accurate, timely reporting, and continuous process improvement. Maintain and utilize industry, competitive and general economic knowledge to inform planning and strategic decisions.

Education & Specialized Knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics with 8+ years of professional, analytical, strategic, and problem-solving experience including 3+ years of management or leadership experience. A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience or a Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong communication skills with multiple levels of leadership and ability to drive initiatives and influence decisions.
  • Experience with Fleet industry and inventory Finance and Accounting a plus.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment with proven time management, prioritization, and execution experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex financial and analytical problems, with specific expertise in financial modeling, statistical methods, business case analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information, anticipate, and effectively solve multifaceted problems.
  • Proven leadership and teaming capabilities with the ability to operate independently, affect change across functions, and have a track record of delivered results.
  • Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are essential, with Oracle, Hyperion Planning, OneStream, Power BI, Tableau, and related applications experience strongly preferred.
  • Superior business acumen and polished presentation skills with advanced PowerPoint experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Ability to travel < 30%
