Your mission?
Grab the exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing SW company where you will help build and maintain an accounting system for a company operating internationally. You will be in charge of...

• Ensuring our financial information is accurate and reliable by acting as an accounting focal point in the company, along with and supporting Strategic Finance (FP&A) and other key stakeholders within the company.
• Providing accounting support to the key business partners (Strategic Finance) team.
• As a key member of the Operational Finance team ensure the accurate recording of costs and allocation to cost centres whilst adhering to accounting principles.
• Analysis and commentary including but not limited to accruals, opex, balance sheet movements month on month and certain cost centres within the business as required by Strategic Finance.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations as required and complete month end close tasks within the Operational Finance Team.
• Analyse and investigate variances between the IFRS and statutory books.
• Coordinate and manage audit requests, both internal and external, as required.
• Ensure local statutory compliance for all entities.
• Ad hoc tasks as required.

What should you have to succeed?

• Advanced written and spoken English
• Knowledge of Czech or Slovak language
• Willingness and ability to learn new processes
• Good working knowledge of accounting and financial principles. Tax and IFRS knowledge will be advantageous but not essential
• Good excel skills are essential
• 2-5 years' experience in a similar position in a multi-currency environment
• Experience in working with a mutli subsidiary ERP system (NetSuite experience is an advantage)
• Teamwork skills are a key pre-requisite
• Analytical skills and process thinking and accuracy
• Proactive and problem solving mindset
