Title:  Financial Analyst, Technology Finance

Location: Dallas, Texas / Remote

Reports to: Director, Finance

The Role: 

The Financial Analyst, Technology Finance (“FA”) will partner closely with the Engineering organization business leaders and their teams, as well as the finance team, to drive corporate objectives and provide financial planning and analysis services. The FA will be embedded in the Engineering team, providing strategic support by developing financial models and generating analytical insights to evaluate business opportunities. Duties for the FA will include budgeting and forecasting for all Engineering projects across the company, as well as ad hoc analyses such as spend efficiency and initiative ROI. Further, the FA will drive innovation to improve our planning and forecasting tools and processes.

LTK is making a significant investment in its technology development and as such the Engineering organization is growing at a significant pace, which presents a great opportunity for the FA to help steward that growth and take on new challenges along the way.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Collaborate with Engineering leadership, including the CTO, and finance team members to create high-quality forecasts and evaluate financial and productivity performance
• Provide decision support by partnering with Engineering leads to drive more efficient use of capital through identifying wasted spend and evaluating ROI on tools and services
• Source information for Engineering spend from key applications across the company and build accurate and scalable systems while considering efficiency and process
• Perform financial analysis to identify trends, concerns, and areas for process and/or reporting improvements
• Work closely with the Director of Finance to outline and implement areas of improvement to financial and business processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field
• 2+ years experience in finance or other related analytical experience
• Excellent verbal, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills -- including the ability to communicate complex ideas to a lay audience
• Analytical, a problem solver, with strong attention to detail
• Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing, entrepreneurial environment
• Excellent teamwork skills, with proven ability to work effectively in a variety of situations
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work well with little supervision, and manage a number of projects simultaneously
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
