Financial Operations Advisor - HYBRID

POSITION SUMMARY

The Financial Operations Advisor works closely with the Director and Senior Advisors to support revenue-producing price optimization activities with an emphasis on financial guarantee performance. Manages and maintains the monthly pricing operations process in conjunction with price management analytics. Performs standardized reporting, while assisting the creation of ad hoc reporting. Assists in cross-functional communication representing client financial guarantees and price management. Facilitates the development of and performs QA testing on new models, tool and processes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Manage and maintain the monthly pricing operations process through implementation and quality control of pricing recommendations aimed at meeting client financial guarantees.
• Execute performance forecasting while managing pricing optimization strategy in line with monthly schedules and senior leadership guidance.
• Perform standardized as well as ad hoc reporting in support of team-directed strategies.
• Work ad hoc projects and newly created initiatives as a representative of the team and its goals.
• Facilitate and initiate communications cross-functionally in the interest of ensuring the team's goals and strategies are adequately represented.
• Perform QA testing on financial data as well as tools in an effort to improve process efficiency and data accuracy.
• Support key efforts related to audit requests, pricing implementation, MAC pricing, new product roll-outs and reporting alignment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Statistics, Economics or equivalent).
• 4+ years relevant experience in analysis, modeling, pricing.
• Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Access).
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle complex analysis from issue identification to proposal of innovative potential solutions.
• Collaborative work ethic essential.
• Demonstrated initiative with commitment and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with SQL & VBA desired but not required.
