Financial QA Analyst

The Job/What You'll Do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial QA Analyst with a strong skills/interest in finance and technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the thorough testing of our financial software products to ensure they meet our stringent quality standards. This role involves in-depth testing of various financial scenarios to ensure our products perform flawlessly under a wide range of conditions.

This is an in-person job based in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities:

•  Design and execute test plans to identify software issues.
• Analyze financial software functionalities to ensure they operate according to specifications.
• Simulate financial transactions to verify the accuracy and reliability of our software.
• Work closely with development teams to discuss and resolve any identified issues.
• Document test outcomes and provide detailed reports on findings.
• Stay updated with new testing tools and test strategies.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Strong background in at least one of the following areas: Computer Science, QA, finance, or accounting
• Excellent understanding of software testing techniques and test case development or a strong interest to learn.
• Ability to analyze software from a user perspective and identify potential issues.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Education & Experience:

• Experience with financial software or platforms.
• 3+ years of experience in field, Preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree in either Computer Science, Accounting, or Finance, Preferred

Compensation: The Base Salary range for this position is between $65,000-$75,000.

This information reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location. This position will also be eligible for additional variable incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
