Summary

- Must be determined to be suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Qualifications
- Experience in support of the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, and custody of cash items;
- Experience applying regulations (e.g., Appropriations Law, Prompt Payment Act) required to examine invoices, vouchers, and related documents;
- Experience in financial management to include monitoring of commitments and obligations;
- Experience preparing and utilizing of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to include formulas and pivot tables;
- Experience in a range of various financial systems;
- Experience providing financial customer support and services;
- Experience receiving, reviewing and/or processing a wide-range range of documents for accuracy, adequacy, and compliance of regulations for goods, services, and/or travel orders/vouchers;
- Experience performing account maintenance and accounting support work requiring a basic understanding of accounting systems, policies and procedures;
- Experience performing technician work in support of budget analysis and execution such as maintain ledgers, compiling, consolidating, checking and arranging funding data;
- Experience researching and analyzing financial reports and data files and provide assistance in interpreting and evaluating financial and accounting reports;
- Experience preparing and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)/Training Briefs/Command Instructions
