Job Description
As a Floor Broker at Wolverine Execution Services (WEX), you will execute trades for clients within the CBOE trading environment, both on the Exchange floor and electronically when applicable.
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- At least 3 years of experience in the SPX options pit
- Strong quantitative and analytical abilities
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach
- Required: Series 7 or Series 57
What You'll Do:
- Execute option trades via Open Outcry on the CBOE Exchange Floor and electronically when available
- Identify liquidity sources to optimize order pricing
- Operate the CBOE floor broker workstation and par stations
- Summarize trade activity for clients to help assess trading decisions
- Provide backup support for Brokers and/or Clerks in other trading pits as needed
- Participate in monthly compliance meetings
- Engage in annual compliance exams

Base salary is $95,000 - $125,000. Base salary is only one part of Wolverine Execution Services, which includes an annual discretionary bonus.
