Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Service Operations Manager to lead our team at WellStar MCG Health and Children's Hospital, part ofAugusta University Health in Augusta, GA

Augusta University Health is a community of caregivers made up of the most sought after and specialized medical and research professionals in their fields, offering the most advanced health care services in a 478-bed adult hospital, the 154-bed Children's Hospital of Georgia, the Georgia Cancer Center, and more than 80 outpatient clinics across Georgia and South Carolina.

The Food Operations Manager 2 at this location will report to the General Manager, manage a team of approximately 75 client staff and oversee the food service operations, utilizing an EFY ("Especially for You") patient dining program, cafeteria, Starbucks retail and micro-outlet. Must have prior food and patient management experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

• patient service operations and be responsible for menu development;
• diet office operations;
• operational excellence;
• KPI attainment;
• client and Sodexo budget adherence;
• management of frontline staff;
• c-suite relationships at the local hospital and health system level;
• overall coordination and delivery of Sodexo's patient service programs and high standards for this prestigious client organization;
• frequent interaction with Patient Experience Managers, ensuring a high-level of patient satisfaction and experiences

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
