About the Role:

The Finance Team at Capco is responsible for preparing, analysing, and advising on the financial status of the firm. We focus on operational excellence by ensuring accuracy and compliance with global financial rules and regulations. From concept to contract completion, our team works directly along-side senior leadership and stakeholders to yield a high-performance business by mitigating risks and increasing profits. 

The Group Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team is a global team, providing analytical review and analysis to the Group Financial Controller, the CFO, and other senior stakeholders across the business including Wipro head office. The team is responsible for monthly Management Information, Group revenue assurance and audit deliverables, Board submission financial analysis, Group budget and regular reforecast.

Reporting directly to the Group Head of FP&A based in the London Head Office, Capco are looking for a hands-on and experienced FP&A Manager to join their Global FP&A team. You will closely collaborate with colleagues both abroad and in the US, and will act as a key business partner with stakeholders from all our global locations as well as our centralised Group functions such as Operations, Human Capital, IT and Operations. The role will have available guidance from US Finance senior management.

You have an opportunity to directly influence overall finance strategy, month end and budgeting & planning processes. You must be intellectually curious, detail-oriented, and able to identify solutions to complex problems, then roll-up your sleeves to drive implementation and track your work’s impact.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Responsible for the Group and US FP&A activity, including the delivery of robust and timely financial data and analysis.
  • Managing the US FP&A month end close process, ensuring inputs from wider Finance teams are submitted on time & to the standard expected.
  • Challenging and analysing the US and Group reporting to ensure a strong level of understanding both within the FP&A team to enable value-add internal reporting.
  • Review and continually improve the reporting process and reporting templates to ensure consistent and efficient reporting across the group, leveraging functionality of existing systems & tools and help implement new, fit-for-purpose systems & tools.
  • Management and development of junior FP&A team members, where appropriate
  • Significant contribution to the yearly budgeting processes covering timing, communications, and reporting, plus review of regular reforecast.
  • Support the production of monthly Board and operational reporting to ensure key messaging and observations are delivered in a succinct and timely manner.
  • Provide business partnering support to the senior leadership team, especially those onshore in the US, whilst establishing strong and effective relationships across all levels in the business.
  • Ensure FP&A processes are documented and reviewed regularly to ensure best practice is followed.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support to finance projects, as and when required.

What You’ll Bring With You:

  • BA/BS in Business/Finance/Accounting. MBA or CPA is Plus 
  • 5+ years prior experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area, as well as experience in public accounting 
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to effectively delver concise output and messaging.
  • Ability to demonstrate improvements through business process re-engineering within FP&A.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; in building relationships, managing expectations in interacting with all levels of management, including senior stakeholders outside and outside of Finance.
  • Able to operate in quickly changing environments whilst being well organized, pro-active and deadline driven.
  • Experience with large enterprise applications including PeopleSoft and Anaplan is a plus.
  • Experience of working in a global company with multiple legal entities.
  • Excellent Excel skills and prior experience of Anaplan planning software.
