Front-end Engineer

As a Front-end Engineer in the IT department of Inkomen Collectief, you will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining high-quality user interfaces for our web applications for intermediaries and direct employers. What you are going to do

• You design and develop scalable, efficient, and reliable software applications, while following an API-first approach
• You participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers and collaborate through pair programming to ensure code quality and consistency
• You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, designers, and other developers, to identify and prioritize features and functionality
• You create and maintain architectural design and technical documentation to support the development process and ensure effective knowledge transfer
• You continuously research and learn new technologies, tools, and techniques to improve the development process and stay up-to-date with industry trends

Who you are

• You know how to work in an Agile environment where collaboration, and continuous improvements are the foundations. Additionally you possess:
• 6+ years of experience working as a Front-end / Full-stack Engineer
• Extensive expertise in React
• Strong proficiency in Typescript
• Proven experience in frontend and API testing using Playwright and other frameworks
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications
• Experience with CSS in JS, with familiarity in Material UI preferred
• Experience with NodeJS, with some familiarity with NestJS preferred
• Good understanding of Docker
• Experience with back-end development would be a plus
