Job Description:

Merkle is seeking a talented Full Stack Sitecore Engineer to contribute to a dynamic team building Sitecore-based web and native app solutions within our Experience Platforms group. This is a great opportunity to be part of an award-winning Sitecore practice, work with cutting edge technologies, and collaborate with a top-notch team working on custom applications and tools within Sitecore. The successful candidate will be a Sitecore subject matter expert who can develop innovative solutions on time and on budget with maintainable code, low technical debt, and good systems design. As a Sitecore Engineer, you will have exceptional development skills, a high level of accountability and a desire to implement best in class solutions for clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality Sitecore solutions that follow modern platform and industry best practices
• Collaborate across teams on technical decisions
• Work collaboratively with Project Leads, Technical Architects, Business Analysts and Engineers to improve the overall design and implementation of projects
• Build professional relationships with managers, peers, and stakeholders
• Contribute to internal tools, reusable code, code accelerators, and starter kits

Qualifications:

We expect you to confidently tick the following:

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with development on Sitecore 9 or newer
• At least 3 years of hands-on front-end development experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop and debug MVC-based solutions using Visual Studio and C#

• Demonstrated understanding of delivery methodologies such as Agile and Kanban
• Proficient in Sitecore Experience Platform
• Aware of Sitecore roadmap and technologies
• Knowledge and understanding of Helix
• Knowledge of modern, vanilla JavaScript

• Knowledge of modern CSS without a reliance on CSS frameworks
• Knowledge of modern semantic HTML5
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as NPM
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices
• Understanding of Git

• Understanding of CI/CD
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail
• A high level of accountability and ability to work independently
• Ability to estimate and complete work in a deadline driven environment
• Desire to continually improve, learn, and work with new technologies, techniques, and tools

Preferred

• Experience with Sitecore Headless Services (JSS)
• Experience with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA)
• Experience with TDS or Sitecore Content Serialization (SCS)
• Experience with Solr or Coveo

• Certified on Sitecore 9 or newer
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with React and Next.js
• Active in Sitecore community
• Sitecore Technology MVP

• Experience working with distributed and remote teams
• Experience supporting multiple Sitecore implementations at one time

The anticipated salary range for this position is $72,000k - $106,000k. Salary is based on various factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
