Current Need

We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer for our Macro Helix 340B program management technology for hospital health system-covered entities and retail contract pharmacy networks.

Position Description

Responsible for product development using mostly SQL, C#, Angular, etc. You will play an active role in developing new features and functionality in partnership with other engineers within the team and across the business. You will tackle challenging, novel situations every day and will have an opportunity to work with different teams across the organization. As a part of this growing team, you will get to work on variety of technologies like Azure cloud, Databricks, etc. with high visibility in the organization. Along the way, we guarantee that you'll learn a ton, have fun, grow and make positive impact on many people.

Minimum Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in web and software development.

Education:

4 years degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

Critical Skills:

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably for a software company using Microsoft technologies in a web-based application.
• 1 + years of experience working with Microsoft Azure (preferred), Google Cloud Platform, or AWS (IaaS, PaaS, and Services)
• Language Proficiency - A Minimum of 2+ years of experience with ASP.NET, C# and/or VB.net, JavaScript, Angular, TypeScript, CSS, HTML and Ajax.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL server 2014 and higher in higher volume transaction environments.
• 1 + years of experience in Source control technologies (Github/BitBucket)
• Analyzing Information, General Programming and User Interface developing Skills, Software Design, Software Debugging, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Problem Solving, Teamwork
• Practical experience with Source code configuration, versioning, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Object oriented programming knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and Attention to Detail.

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

• Experience working with secure web services and API
• Agile software methodology experience
• Experience with Redgate
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Health care experience is a plus

Role and Responsibilities:

Analyze existing software and develop solution for cloud platform using .NET Core/C#/Azure/Web API Lead and participate in technical design discussions that produce high-performance, highly scalable, and resilient software components. Collaborate with other engineers and product owners and QA members to identify best in class software solutions to complex problems in the health care industry. Maintain existing legacy applications written in ASP.Net/c#.Net through defect correction and refactoring. Take a quality-first approach to software development by producing unit tests and automate functional testing as much as possible. Conduct code reviews with other developers, including security checks. Actively participate in Agile Ceremonies Daily Standups/ Sprint Planning/ Refinements / Retrospectives and Sprint demos. Promote SOLID design principles for software development in a cloud-based environment to implement a code that can easily be modified, tested, extended, and refactored without any problems.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$38.08 - $63.46
