Avendra is North America?s leading hospitality procurement services provider. Acquired by Aramark in 2017, Avendra now manages supplier contracts and sourcing responsibilities for Aramark businesses in North America, other group purchasing organizations owned by Aramark, as well as our traditional hospitality clients. Position Summary. The Director of Sales focuses on sales to large-sized hotel management companies and other prospects in all of Avendra?s targeted markets.

Position Reports to Director of Business Development

Job Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
? Manage portfolio of assigned prospects to close business and meet individual revenue goals
o Develop long-term relationships with key buyers in territory
o Deploy proactive selling strategies to sign up new accounts
o Perform account research activity to develop qualified leads
o Make sales calls on key C-level decision makers
o Develop and deliver compelling presentations to influence C-level buyers to join Avendra
o Complete assignments and all paperwork in a timely manner
? Work with the Discovery team to coordinate a ?Discovery? engagement on selected accounts

Secondary Responsibilities
? Work with Implementation and Account Management teams to seamlessly transition accounts once signed
? Maintain current information in Sales Force Automation system

Qualifications

Work Environment. This job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands. This is largely a sedentary role with some light lifting of files possibly needed.
Role Requirements
? Prior direct sales experience
? Must demonstrate abilities in the area of ?solution selling? with strong negotiation skills
? Experienced in complex sales with multiple buying influences
? Must have excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
? Knowledge of supply chain management
? Experience selling services
? Knowledge of lodging industry and hotel management companies preferred

Overnight Travel Requirements. Type: All modes of transportation, percentage 50-75%, length: 3-5 nights

Years of Relevant Experience. 10 or more years of experience

Education Requirements. BS/BA in relevant field or equivalent years' experience. Master?s degree preferred
