Graphic Designer

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the creation and execution of attractive and effective visual designs for a variety of projects and platforms. They will work closely with the marketing team to understand client needs and ensure that the designs align with communication and marketing objectives. The Designer also ensures all marketing materials are accurate and in accordance with brand style guidelines and reinforce the Infopaginas brand identity

• Design original pieces, including illustrations and infographics.
• Creates clear, compelling materials to promote our client’s businesses as well as Infopaginas products.
• Plans, researches, develops and executes concepts for a variety of projects requiring graphic design, such as rack cards, print and digital ads, branded graphics for new events and programs, event collateral and invitations, web-specific graphics, t-shirts, promotional giveaways, website banners, brochures, and presentations.
• Assists in the creation of graphics for social media channels.
• Attends project planning meetings with clients, team members, contractors, supervisors, and other professionals. Consults with project members throughout the design process about materials, layout, content, specifications, and product.
• Helps to brainstorm and develop ideas for marketing campaigns.
• Determines size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy; selects style and size of type; and arranges layout based upon available space, knowledge of layout principles, and esthetic design concepts; discusses projects at various stages of completion and makes changes as necessary.
• Determines style, techniques, and medium best suited to produce desired effects and to conform to specific instructions.
• Writes and edits copy as needed.
• Prepares final press files for outside vendors, checks and approves proofs from printer, and attends press checks when necessary.
• Assists the Marketing team with preparation and setup for Infopaginas events (in addition to preparation of printed and digital materials).
• Performs related duties and fulfills responsibilities as required.

• Associate Degree from an accredited college or university with preferable coursework in Graphics Design or a related field and three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in working with projects of varied size and complexity in the areas of drafting and graphics.
• Mastery of verbal and written communication skills that allow you to express yourself clearly in English and Spanish with internal or external staff and of any hierarchical level.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat). 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or cloud office software. Proficiency with Mac computer platforms preferred.
• Proven experience in animation software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and maintain effective working relationships while serving a large number of Infopaginas Clients and Internal departments.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and stay on budget.
• Knowledge of art and graphics principles.
• Knowledge of various graphics equipment (office printers, paper cutter, laminator, oversize printer).
• Ability to visually interpret the needs of individuals requiring illustrative services.
• Ability to prepare and communicate accurate cost estimates of projects.
