Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Guest Data Analyst at ARC’TERYX, you will play a key role in improving our understanding of guest behavior and in the eCommerce and CRM space. Your responsibilities will extend to refining processes and frameworks to maximize data utilization, generating actionable insights to fuel marketing initiatives. In this role as Guest Data Analyst, you will work to uncover hidden trends and patterns within our guest data and translating them into engaging fact-based narratives that will engage our key business stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you are able to adapt to a continuously evolving technology stack and leverage internal tools to obtain optimal results.


This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.


Meet Your Future Team:

The Digital Commerce team is responsible for developing our ecommerce channel and all consumer-facing digital touchpoints for Arc’teryx. We are a high-performing team responsible for direct-to-consumer eCommerce (strategy and operations), Digital Growth Marketing, Digital Analytics, Digital User Experience, and Digital Merchandising and Digital Product Content. The team works closely with many other teams, including Retail, Brand and Marketing Operations.

If you were in the Guest Data Analyst role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Leveraging historical transactional data from ecommerce to gain insights into guest behavior, preferences, and needs. Focusing on measuring metrics such as guest lifetime value, churn rate and new guest growth
  • Utilizing SQL, R, Python or similar languages for data analysis, automation of recurring tasks, and statistical modeling
  • Employing various data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders, facilitating informed decision-making
  • Committing to ongoing learning and development by continuously expanding your business domain knowledge and skills, as well as staying up to date with new and emerging technologies and best practices

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into broader business strategies
  • Implementing advanced analytical techniques to enhance marketing performance
  • Leading projects aimed at leveraging emerging technologies for marketing analytics
  • Contributing to the development of predictive models to forecast consumer behavior and campaign outcomes


Are you our next Guest Data Analyst?
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent real-world experience – we care more about what you can do than where you learned it from
  • You have 3+ years of experience related to data and analytics
  • You possess a burning passion for all things data, coupled with an insatiable curiosity to explore the unknown, paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it.
  • You are proficient in SQL for accessing and manipulating data stored in databases
  • You have proven experience with R or Python for advanced data analysis
  • You are familiar with Data Visualization Tools such as Power BI, Tableau
  • You have a keen eye for detail and a knack for transforming raw data into actionable insights
  • You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, compelling stories
  • You have a fearless attitude towards challenges, with a willingness to experiment and learn from mistakes to breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement

$69,000 - $86,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of thepay range is $69,000 - $86,000 CAD at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. 

Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
