Senior General Manager- Consulting

Highly motivated and experienced technical professional with proven track record minimum 12-15 years in field of electrical engineering, having in depth knowledge on Electrical & Energy Management Solutions (Medium Voltage/ Low Voltage/ Power Quality/ Energy Efficiency etc). The position is based out Bengaluru location as Sr General Manager - BD (Consulting) within Field Services. This position will report to head of Business Development - FS, Greater India zone.

The candidate must have ambition to work in multidiscipline offerings and has worked in electro intensive and electro sensitive segments and has solution centric mindset. It is preferred to have an extensive knowledge in Switchgear, Transformer, Protection & Metering products and application, comfortable in meeting customers and passionate about consultative selling and become a trusted advisor. Experience on site execution of Switchgear, Transformer, Protection, Audit Services will be preferred.

Essential Responsibilities

o End to End responsibilities - Opportunity generation to successful execution of Consulting and Audit services

o Understand, Learn, deploy various global & local services to various segment customers.

o Support Sales for technical discussions, customer presentation, closer meeting with clients.

o Support bid with right level of costing, cost optimization, technical SOW assessment

o Training to sales team

o Identifying the customer actual need & promote the consulting offers accordingly.

o Selection the type of consulting offers to be proposed based on business nature of customer

o Site execution, suggest customer outcome-based solution

o Strong Solution selling orientation

Main interactions:

Internal: Services team: Field Sales Team, Tendering, Business Development, Segment sales, BU sales etc.

External: Customers

Education and Skills:

• Experience in Audits & Consulting assignments preferable

• Degree in Electrical Engineering within Min 12-15 years site work experience for execution

• Experience in Medium Voltage/ Low Voltage/ Power Quality/ Energy Efficiency etc.

• Excellent communication skills

• Capabilities to influence, convince inside/outside

• Ability to build a sustainable and reliable relationship with customers.
