Work Location: Malvern, PA - Hybrid, coming into the office at least 3 days per week with Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday being set days.

What you'll do:

Customers Bank, a dynamic and forward-thinking financial institution, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Sales Technology & Automation to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for devising and implementing a comprehensive sales enablement strategy that enhances our sales capabilities and related banking operations processes. Your expertise in the banking sector, coupled with your proficiency in business process automation with Salesforce, nCino, and other relevant technology will be instrumental in driving our sales and operations team's effectiveness and efficiency. This role will report directly to the CIO and will serve as the executive driving implementation and platform strategies with business partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Execute Sales Technology & Automation Strategy:
  • Lead and develop a sales technology and automation team focused on advancing sales capabilities.
  • Identify, measure and implement strategies to improve sales processes and banking operations.
  • Ensure alignment of sales enablement and operational effectiveness activities with overall business objectives.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team.
  • Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Enhance Sales & Banking Operations Processes and Automation:
  • Leverage expertise in Salesforce and nCino to optimize sales processes.
  • Implement and oversee the use of CRM and other sales tools to increase sales productivity.
  • Advance first line automation capabilities
  • Collaboration with Senior Leadership:
  • Work closely with the CIO and other senior leaders to align sales enablement initiatives with the bank's strategic goals.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on sales enablement progress and impact.
  • Drive Sales & Operational Excellence:
  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance the skills of the sales team.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

What do you need?

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the banking or similar industry with a proven track record in sales leadership and technology roles.
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce and nCino, demonstrating a deep understanding of how to leverage these platforms for sales, credit, and banking operations success.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience building and leading high-performance teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
