We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team. The HR Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the People team and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR administration, with proficiency in Workday (or another HRIS) and a solid understanding of benefits administration.
In order to be considered for this position, candidates must reside in one of the following cities: Atlanta, Boston, New York City or Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
Workday Administration:
Serve as the primary point of contact for routine Workday-related inquiries and issues.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity within the HRIS system.
Process employee data changes, new hires, terminations, promotions, and transfers in Workday.
Benefits Administration:
Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave management.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits eligibility, coverage, and enrollment processes.
Collaborate with benefit providers to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Assist in organizing and conducting benefits orientation sessions for new employees.
HR Operations Support:
Prepare and distribute employment offer letters, employment agreements, and other HR-related documents.
Assist in maintaining personnel files and HR documentation in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Support the onboarding process by conducting new employee orientations and ensuring completion of required paperwork.
Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement programs, performance management, and training.
Compliance and Policies:
Stay up to date with relevant employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
Support compliance efforts by ensuring accurate and timely reporting and documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as an HR Coordinator or similar role.
Proficiency in Workday HRIS system, including data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of benefits administration processes, including enrollment, eligibility, and compliance requirements.
Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other HR-related software.
Compensation:
The annual base compensation range for this role is between $70,000 and $75,000. The successful candidate's actual base compensation will be based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to work experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and professional qualifications
You will also be eligible for an annual bonus calculated based on individual and company performance.
