Currently, our rapidly expanding team and site network is looking for a Human Resources Manager who can work for us on a full-time basis, to lead HR functions in the United States as well as work closely with Canadian HR representation for company-wide HR initiatives. This is a fully remote position with potential to travel to various sites up to 15%.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintain programs, procedures, and guidelines to assist in aligning the workforce with the strategic goals of the company
  • Maintain responsibility for the company’s compliance with local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters
  • Contribute and maintain an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes excellence, quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
  • Collaborate in the development and management of personnel policies and procedures that ensure existing and future business requirements are met and meet the company’s objectives
  • Oversee time sensitive processes, including information pertaining to employee separations, appointments, leave transfers, benefits, payroll, etc.
  • Oversee the proper administration of personnel payroll functions including salary change, wage assessments, etc.
  • Assist staff in accurately interpreting applicable payroll policies and procedures
  • Establish and maintain a wage and salary structure, pay policies, and variable pay systems within the company including bonuses and raises
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and insurance providers
  • Obtain cost-effective, employee-serving benefits
  • Lead all efforts of talent acquisition: job posting, job sourcing, screening, interviewing, onboarding, and orientation
  • Manage HR and personnel policies and process development
  • Guide managers and supervisors of the company’s progressive disciplinary policy
  • Review management’s recommendations for employment terminations
  • Assist in the management of superior workforce development, employee retention, employee morale, and employee work-life balance
  • Develop, maintain, and train managers in all performance management tools
  • Recommend and assist in the design of employee training programs such as Manager Development Training, New Employee Orientation, Employee Performance Management, and others as identified by the Leadership Team
  • Maintain and update reporting of the company’s human resources metrics and data

This role is for you, if:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, and/or at least 2 years experience in Human Resources Management in the United States
  • You have 4 or more years of Human Resources Management experience and/or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or CHRL/CHRP
  • You thrive, autonomously, in a fast paced, innovative environment while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient

  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to identify issues and trends, brainstorm solutions, and communicate effectively

  • Extra plus if you have experience using Microsoft Office tools including Teams, Outlook and Sharepoint!
