About the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Payroll Specialist. This role will report to a Human Resources Supervisor and enable us to continue to scale in the healthcare industry. This is a hybrid role where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis.

What You'll Do:

• Support the company's bi-weekly payroll processing for multiple entities in ADP Workforce Now (data entry, manual payroll, and timesheet adjustments, managing payroll deductions, etc.)
• Perform HR and payroll administrative duties in a detail-oriented manner, including data entry, filing, answering phone calls, responding to emails, preparing documents
• Serve as a day-to-day HR and Payroll resource for employees by answering to questions, concerns, & processing changes in ADP Workforce Now.
• Helps to ensure proper payment of wages and salaries by using the in-house payroll system (ADP WFN/Time and Attendance) to correctly process salaries and reported hours worked, correctly utilize paid leave and holiday pay, correctly accrue compensatory time, and correctly compute overtime while meeting deadlines.
• Calculate and process back pay and adjustment payments for employees as needed
• Process and issue accurate and timely paychecks for all employees, including those who have resigned or been terminated, to ensure they receive their final pay in the correct amount and on time.
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
• Conduct scheduled audits of payroll records to ensure continued accuracy
• Assists with year-end processing and other year-end payroll and benefit reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with other teammates on various assigned HR projects/HR Functions as needed.
• Other HR-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum of BA/BS degree
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll software a plus
• Previous HR experience a plus

Environmental Job Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Our organization follows a hybrid work structure where the expectation is to work both in office and at home on a weekly basis. The office is located at 1668 S Garfield Avenue, Alhambra, CA 91801.
• The total compensation target pay range for this role is: $18 - $34/hr. The salary range represents our national target range for this role.
