The Implementation/Onboarding Configuration Specialist works with project teams to set up H&W benefit administration outsourcing platform. You will be aligned with the System Architect to understand a new client’s plan rules and translate these into the configuration of parameters within the system. This is a fast-paced environment, with multiple coincident projects. We are a “workspace anywhere” company, but we also have occasional in-person meetings.Â
Responsibilities include the following:Â
- Perform requirements gathering, functional and data analysis, and system design and configuration Â
- Identify and document data types, rules, mapping, and conversion requirementsÂ
- Coordinate and conduct all levels of system and user acceptance testingÂ
- Maintain system documentation for internal and external useÂ
- Work with multiple projects and collaborate with diverse resources to meet timeline objectivesÂ
- Participate in ongoing business process standardizationÂ
- Provide accurate and timely project communication, status and schedule updates to assigned clientÂ
- Create/interpret data mapping from source system(s) to target systemÂ
- Utilize assigned data conversion tools and documentation to promote efficiency and standardizationÂ
- Clearly communicate and present solutions to internal and external customers. Travel may be required.Â
- Ownership of the transition process from the onboarding phase to the ongoing, steady-state (business as usual) environment, which includes documentation, detailed discussions, and issue resolution.Â
- May perform other duties as assignedÂ
What you need to make the cut: Â
- 1 to 3 years of industry experience gathering/analyzing data for writing system requirements, performing system configuration, and creating ETL processes for data transactionsÂ
- 1 to 3 years of experience writing test plans & test cases
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Strong SQL, MS Access and strong Excel skills preferred
- Strong analytical ability, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage projects and multiple priorities at the same time
- Keen attention to detail - you must pay crazy attention to detail without going crazy
- Be a creative thinker - the person who doesn’t settle and always looks for a better way
- Ability to compare large data sets, organize data and summarize findings
- Working knowledge of business processes, system development and process improvements
- Proficient in gathering business requirements, process flows and use cases
- Experience with and strong understanding of various technologies and platforms 
- Conceptual knowledge or experience working with ETL tools and processes Â
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile projects in a fast paced environment
- Exceptional client relationship/consultative skill-set required
- Client-focused, positive and professional attitude
- Organized, detail oriented, accurate and responsiveÂ
The pay range for this position is 50K to 70K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data).Â
This role is eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan.
