All about the role:

The Electrolux Group’s Supply Chain teams are responsible for moving our products and services from the factory floors to family homes, organizing the flow of materials and information between manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and consumers. Through their agile, dynamic and efficacy-centered approach, our Supply Chain teams allow Electrolux to continue delivering extraordinary experiences for consumers all around the world.

What you’ll do:

In this role you will be Responsible for developing, directing and coordinating strategic programs and initiatives to improve Inbound Logistics in Operations; This includes the responsibility to improve material handling, material flows and layout, 3PL productivity, warehouse security based on best market practices in storage, picking, material feeding, production scheduling and material planning as well as new technologies available.

In detail, you will:

- Direct and coordinate Logistics Initiatives on the factory and warehouse floor including receiving, warehousing, line feeding, material planning and production scheduling processes;

- Lead and develop the team under your responsibility in accordance with Electrolux standards;

- Lead the business strategic initiatives and programs on Inbound Logistics workstream focusing of implementing a safe warehouse operation;

- Work closely with Inbound Logistics Manager and personnel in operations to evaluate the impact of the continuing improvement programs on overall inbound logistics processes;

- Work closely with Logistics Team to provide consistent process and assure higher inventory accuracy

- Work closely with plant leaders, logistics operations team, materials planning, supply personnel, and NPI - New Product Introduction personnel to incorporate process and/or design changes needed to improve the material handling.

- Be responsible to the Inbound Logistics Manager for establishing plans, implementation, measurement and programs related to the implementation of Lean Manufacturing Principles in Inbound Logistics processes

- Direct and oversee the development of programs and mechanisms to improve monitoring of inventory levels, adjusting inventory, tracking order fulfillment, and investigating and resolving discrepancies.

As part of the culture of continuous improvement, you will be involved in Lean Thinking projects and activities (EMS/C2W).

Who you are:

 

You have:

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing/Logistics and Administration Sciences or related;

- Experience in Inbound Logistics with continually increasing responsibility related to management, supervision, customers, and quality (desirable);

- Full understanding and demonstrated execution of problem-solving tools;

- Understanding of SAP, MRP, Production Scheduling and WMS Principles;

- Advanced English.
