The Information Security Architect will report directly to the Director of Cyber Strategy & Innovation and will focus on two primary areas of responsibility. One of the responsibilities is to lead and perform Cyber Security Due Diligence tasks utilizing current framework and processes as well as continue to mature our diligence process. This role would also lead the planning and assist with integration architecture of any newly acquired entities. The second primary area of responsibility is to provide support to Strategy & Innovation special projects initiatives by working with other Cyber or Enterprise architects to define and develop solutions to complex cybersecurity problems. You will also help identify gaps in the current Enterprise technology stack and influence the Cyber organization direction to make improvements and ensure Cyber control coverage, visibility, effectiveness, and efficiency enterprise wide to continuously enhance NIST Cyber Security maturity.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead the Cyber M&A Due Diligence efforts as part of the pre/post LOI process. Document and present Due Diligence findings to the Director of Cyber Strategy & Innovation, CISO and Corporate Development team. Develop detailed integration plans of acquired entity based on different operating models.
• Determines security requirements of new Cyber or Enterprise initiatives by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; evaluating system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.
• Lead Implementation and working sessions with Cyber and business stakeholders.
• Assist Cyber Strategy & Innovation pillar on technical, framework and process related inquires to drive maturity across all services.
• Partner with our other Cybersecurity pillars architects to drive innovation when it comes to cross pillar functions, integration, technology and processes.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field
• 8+ years of experience in Cybersecurity roles.
• Understanding of Cybersecurity M&A Due Diligence process
• Knowledge around performing M&A program maturity assessments for technology, process, and cloud deployments.
• Deep understanding of enterprise level technologies stack used within the Cybersecurity organization.
• Have a high degree of technical complexity threaded throughout your experience and conversant thereabout.
• Good experience in complex global information security infrastructures from an engineering, architectural and operational level.
• Experience with applying security controls in cloud environments, specifically AWS, GCP, Oracle Cloud
• Experience with Cyber M&A process as well as roles and responsibilities.
• Knowledge of/experience with international compliance requirements/standards (PCI, GLBA, SOX) and other security regulation requirements and practical implementation knowledge.
• In-depth understanding of cyber security issues and best practices across many different platforms and capability to articulate and communicate these issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to lead meetings and present to large groups of technical and business personnel.
• Experience with Active Directory and LDAP, firewall technology, and IDS/IPS technology
• Expert in TCP/IP, reading network packets, network technologies, and perimeter protection technology.
• Strong skills in web technologies (scripting, SSL, HTTP/S), API protection, Web Application Firewalls
• Strong skills in applying security controls to cloud environments.
• Strong in encryption technologies (SSL, HSM, Mutual Authentication)
• Knowledge of WAN/LAN/Cloud networking concepts and familiarity with Cloud infrastructure in general 
• Understanding of the various logging methodologies: syslog, agent based, WMI, etc. 
• Understanding of multiple cyber security frameworks (NIST, CSF, MITRE ATT&CK)

Salary

The base salary range is $170,000 – 220,000 USD per year. Total on target compensation includes a base salary and short-term (20% of base), and long-term (20% of base), incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidates’ qualifications, skills, and competencies.
