Job Summary

What You'll Be Doing
- Obtains, maintains, and monitors Authorization to Operate (ATO) for classified systems.
- Oversees and coordinates the remediation of system vulnerabilities along with the sysadmin staff. Ensures accurate reporting is provided to the government.
- Reviews, develops, and implements security plans and associated documentation for existing and new information systems (IS).
- Coordinates and performs internal information security inspections, tests, and reviews to ensure computer assets are in-line with established government guidelines and documented corporate procedures.
- Supports the development of the organization's information system (IS) security policies, standards, and procedures. Enforces and inspects policies to ensure they are implemented.
- Trains and briefs employees on the proper use of information systems in secure areas.
- Investigates and reports information system security incidents. Ensures proper remediation and protection measures are taken.
What You Need to be Successful
Minimum Requirements:
- TS/SCI clearance or DOD TS with SSBI
- High School Diploma or equivalent with three or more years of relevant experience
- IAT Level I certification
- In-depth knowledge of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and associated processes
- Solid technical base with an understanding of computer operating systems
- Ability to work well with a team and build rapport with government and customer organizations
- Flexibility and adaptability in a customer service-oriented environment
How You Can Stand Out
It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:
- Bachelor's degree with five or more years of experience in an information system security related role.
- IAT Level II or III certification
- Prior experience with RMF related tools such as XACTA, SNOW, eMass, etc.
- In-depth knowledge or security related tools such as Nessus/EVSS, HBSS, Splunk, or other auditing tools.
- Working knowledge of and experience with IC organizations accreditation processes
- Strong technical understanding of vulnerability management, patching, flaw remediation, and reporting.
