Infrastructure and Domain Services Test Lab Team Lead

Leidos is seeking a qualified Infrastructure and Domain Services Test Lab Team Lead to join our Defense Enclave Services (DES) team. As a leader, you will lead a team of talented engineers to design, implement, and maintain a robust testing environment for our critical infrastructure and domain services supporting an extensive digital modernization program critical to DISA and Fourth Estate Agencies.

Clearance Requirement:

• Possess a current Secret clearance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of Test Engineers, ensuring their tasks are aligned with project goals and deadlines.
• Identify and mitigate potential issues before they impact production systems.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
• Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Rapidly test and validate new infrastructure and domain services.
• Ensure efficient test execution, documentation of results, and timely resolution of defects.
• Collaborate with engineers to identify and address issues prior to delivery of test plans to third-party testers.
• Promote the use of test automation tools and techniques to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the test lab infrastructure.
• Ensure the lab is equipped with the necessary hardware, software, and network resources.
• Interact with customers, users, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate progress, and address concerns.
• Represent the test team in project meetings and decision-making processes.
• Ensure that the team adheres to quality standards and best practices throughout the testing process.
• Conduct code reviews and audits to identify potential defects.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with effectively detecting, tracking, reporting, and communicating test defects.
• Deep understanding of infrastructure and domain services technologies (e.g., servers, networks, databases, virtualization).
• Current IAT Level II or higher Certification such as Security + or CISSP
• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience; additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an infrastructure and/or Domain Services testing environment
• At least 2 years in a leadership role.

Certifications:

• Current IAT Level II or higher Certification (Security+, CISSP, etc.)
• Relevant testing certifications preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with requirements traceability, system-of-systems integration and testing.
• Experience with cloud-based environments and infrastructure.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
