Job Description
Inside Sale Representative
We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to help us grow. You will be part of a national team selling EPLAN Software & Services. Having the right balance to manage our existing customers while building a pipeline of new business is key to being successful. We are willing to train, coach, and develop. You will work closely with our national account management sales team to provide detail-specific solutions for our customers. If one day you wish to travel and become an Outside Sales professional, let us help you get there, but it isn't required.
What we are looking for is someone ambitious, dedicated, and willing to learn. We are looking for a person, not a skill set, and are willing to provide 100% training. In addition to this;
- You will identify new EPLAN prospects and industries and are willing to cover all components of the sales process. That entails prospecting, cold calling, negotiating complex requirements, and maintaining high customer satisfaction (NPS).
- You direct inside sales support to regional accounts, acquire new customers, and continuously explore direct sales opportunities.
- Successfully prospect using cold calling, research, and networking skills.
- You will learn to effectively present the EPLAN product strategy and philosophy to customers and partners.
- You act as internal territory development representative within an assigned region in the US. Identify new large sales opportunities and work with Region Account Managers to follow up on leads.
- You initiate and participate in all new marketing campaigns and promotions as they develop.
- You qualify leads from digital campaigns, references, tradeshows and online.
- You track weekly, monthly and quarterly performance and sales metrics.
- You maintain data, CRM, of prospective client information.

What helps you be the perfect fit is having the right personality with the drive and hunger to be successful. The following is also preferred;
- We look for a Bachelor’s degree Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent work experience
- We would like 1-2 years retail/customer service experience or 1-3 years of business development/sales experience
- If you have Industrial Automation experience and knowledge of CAD/CAE it will help.
- We look for someone naturally persuasive and goal-oriented.
- We need someone self-motivated and self-directed with the able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- We are seeking someone with strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop and build strong relationships with c-level and senior management of clients
- High proficient in computer skills including internet, CRM, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and has a complete understanding of consultative and solution selling strategies
Additional Information:
We will not sponsor applicants for work visas. Applicants must be authorized to work on an unrestricted basis. Up to 5% travel.
