Summary

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies through the Certain Competitive Service / Modified Direct Hire Authority. Qualifications

There is a Selective Placement Factor for this position. Your application must show that you meet the following:
1) You are a member in good standing of the bar of a State of the United States or a Territory of the United States or sufficient proof that the same has been requested with the appropriate licensing authority.
2) You have a Juris Doctorate degree, or higher level law degree, from an American Bar Association accredited law school.

In addition to meeting the Selective Placement Factor, your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following:
1.) Applying a wide range of investigative methods and procedures to manage a hotline program and conduct administrative or IG investigations of sensitive and complex matters as the lead investigator.
2) Researching and analyzing highly complex, substantial, and/or unfamiliar matters to prepare and present executive level reports and briefs which are relied upon to initiate corrective actions, ensure compliance, and make significant improvements to operations and readiness.
3) Preparing and writing complex briefs and reports
4.) Orally communicating to effectively present ideas clearly and convincingly, with tact, diplomacy, and astute judgment, and to communicate and interact with senior management to provide expert advice and assistance on areas of responsibility.
5.) Planning, coordinating, and leading the work efforts of other individuals from different organizations to effectively execute programs and conduct inspections, investigations, and other assignments.
6.) Independently establishing workflow and procedures, determine work to be accomplished, set work priorities, and balance competing demands as an individual or leader of a team to perform effectively under time pressure and meet deadlines. 6.)
7.) Using management information systems/office automation applications, principles, and practices and skill in use of office automated equipment and a wide range of standard office software applications and databases in order to manage programs, analyze data, and draft reports.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education

In order to meet the Selective Placement Factor you must provide:

There is no educational substitution for Specialized Experience in this series at this grade level.
