The Opportunity :
We're seeking a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert and Instructional Lab Manager to join our Courseware Development Team in developing technical product training that enables our customers to get the most out of our products and our managed services partners with the knowledge and skills to support their LogRhythm customers. We're focused on building our teams' capability to design and develop industry-leading technical learning assets linked to performance-based outcomes. You will work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment to gather requirements, perform audience needs and gap analyses, manage learner lab environments, and support our courseware developers in designing and delivering engaging and deployment ready courseware for the entire LogRhythm range of products.

Responsibilities:
35% - Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert• You maintain your knowledge of current cybersecurity trends, and expertise on current and developing LogRhythm products.• You have familiarity with Windows and multiple flavors of Linux, can navigate, operate within, troubleshoot, support, build, and install within those operating systems.• You provide technical guidance and answer technical product-related questions for instructional designers/courseware developers, including contin ual updates on relevant new product features, developments, and release timelines.
30% - Labs and Lab Exam Management• You own the maintenance and development of our hands-on labs and virtual exam architecture and infrastructure, and recommend strategic direction and investments in that infrastructure, to ensure the best possible experience for learners and instructors within budgetary constraints.• You work to continuously improve operations and processes and maintain exceptional documentation on those processes and procedures.• You create interactive and highly realistic lab environments for students and Courseware Developers.• Utilizing your expertise in incident detection and response and threat hunting, you create and maintain experiential hands-on labs, exercises, and exams aligned to learning objectives and ensure real-world relevance.• You consult, collaborate, and support Instructors and students in troubleshooting lab issues.• You lead and participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands.• You utilize your familiarity with AWS and its configurations to build Images, configure networking and other infrastructure in AWS.• You perform end to end testing of Labs, using tools like Python and PowerShell with the running of Beta testing in Live Class Environments.• You develop and maintain automations for different automated delivery opportunities.
10% - Courseware Maintenance• You lead our instructors in maintaining our Instructor Led Course content to ensure it reflects product developments and version releases, and ensure those changes are well documented.• You work with other SMEs to re-purpose content into different formats as required to support various course delivery types (i.e., video scripts, live training, classroom schedules, etc.).
15% - Project Team Meetings• We have a very high commitment to project discipline on our team and working within this kind of structure and associated processes is something you appreciate, a lot.• You participate in daily project standups and are responsible for presenting your plan for the day, surfacing any challenges or blockers you're facing, asking questions of the project team members, and in general supporting the PM.• You participate in our project Sprint Reviews held every two weeks where you're responsible for presenting in detail the work you've completed in the current sprint to the project team and stakeholders.• You participate in regular Sprint Retrospectives to help us recognize learning opportunities and improve our team processes and performance.
5% - Ad-Hoc Assignments• We work in a dynamic environment where priorities can and do change. You enjoy taking on ad-hoc projects and fully owning them from concept to delivery.

Minimum Qualifications (Must Haves): • LogRhythm SIEM experience.• Strong background in relevant open-source technologies.• Proficiency with configuring infrastructure components (e.g., networking, cloud services, orchestration tools, containerization, compute, and storage systems).• Strong command of the written and spoken English language, including communicating with a high level of details among various audiences.
Highly Desired Qualifications (Key Discriminators): • Professional Services implementation experience.• Broad Security/Cybersecurity domain experience and/or expertise.• Knowledge of software and systems security.• Penetration testing experience.• Knowledge of RPA tools or interested in learning.

  • Network+ certification or in Progress.
  • Security+ certification or in progress.

Salary:
The annual starting salary for this position is between 80k-90k+ Annually depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
