About the Team:
The Molecular Genetics and Genomics department provides a range of molecular based assays within the Women's Health and Genetics Division of Labcorp.

Internship Assignment Summary:

• Shadow our Project Analysts through their daily work of process improvements and launching novel assays at our site
• Contribute to a project focused on process improvements in the molecular based laboratories
• Attend training sessions to learn about PMP certification

To be eligible for a Labcorp internship candidates have to return to finish a minimum of one semester of course work toward their degree after the internship - an expected graduation date of December 2025 or later.

Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• Working towards a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry (preferred) or other BS in a science degree
• Has experience delivering multiple projects in an academic or professional setting
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and internal/external colleagues
• Embraces diverse ways of thinking through various forms collaboration and partnership
• High level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-volume environment and while prioritizing and manage multiple tasks
• Applicants for this position must enroll after completion of the Labcorp Internship in one or more final semesters to finish coursework towards a bachelor's degree

Pay Range: $17.00-$20.00/hr
