The Opportunity

In this role you are working closely with colleagues from all offices and departments to collect, document, and gather insights for a detailed collection of important information. Your contribution will create a solid knowledge library to show all employees how commercetools works and to ensure we have an extensive source to learn from. This includes, but is not limited to, competitor analysis, marketing materials, organizational structure, guidelines, and exciting technology information. This fantastic internal wiki is going to be accessed by all commercetools employees around the world! Come and be our source of knowledge!


ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE
  • Making our knowledge base / Wiki a first go to place for information and knowledge by owning and driving itsĀ  governance, ensuring its continued maintenance and improvement and engaging with its users
  • Creating and curating content (articles, graphics, videos) in our internal Wiki (Confluence)
  • Creating and optimizing templates, pages and documentation for our department
  • Further developing and implementing standards, procedures, systematics and policies, in order to identify, structure, keep and use existing meaningful knowledge
  • Shaping and collaborating with our knowledge partner community and foster and enable knowledge sharing, internally but also externally beyond our company e.g. through tech blogs or helping our colleagues to prepare talks for conferencesĀ 
  • Defining a process to best understand our department’s training needs and liaise with our ctAcademy and our learning partners to plan and orchestrate meaningful trainings and learning paths
  • Managing internal projects from discovery to roll-out, e.g. on improving processes like onboarding
  • Driving automation and integration of several technologies, e.g. Slack, Confluence and JIRA
  • Serving - as a team - as the point of contact for all employees and advising them regarding Knowledge Management
  • Making use of internal data (like happiness survey, feedback on onboarding process) to understand business needs and derive, plan and run end to end initiativesĀ 
  • Tracking and measuring success of initiatives

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Several years of experience in working with content management systems, ideally in a growing tech company. Engineering background a plus
  • Experience in working with people on adding content to internal communication channels
  • Strong communication and presentation skills coming with very good verbal and written English skills
  • Strong project management skills, incl. change management and stakeholder engagement and structured method of working
  • Quick readiness of mind and the competency to provide focused and meaningful results/presentations including conclusions/insights
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity as well as high level of service orientation
  • Sharing knowledge is your assetĀ 
  • Experience in working with the Atlassian Confluence editorial system and knowledge within the Slack environment would be nice
  • Tech savvy: ideally basic experience with markup languages and macros and interest in automation and integrating tools
