Internship - Operational Demand Planning Assistant La Mer

To support our Demand Planning Department on Estée Lauder and Origins, we are recruiting a Regional Demand Planner Assistant EMEA for a 6 months internship in our EMEA offices in Paris area.

Detailed Responsibilities:

1. Produce an accurate sales forecast for one brand from our portfolio:

• Produce and maintain the forecast of New Product Launches in collaboration with both regional and affiliate Marketing
• Conduct monthly KPI (Key Performance Indicators) analysis to identify root causes of forecast variance and undertake corrective actions
• Collaborate with our statistical provider to clean historical events and improve accuracy
• Manage master data to reflect life cycles of the products
• Maintain the usage plan of promotional items in collaboration with affiliate marketing teams
• Support the Regional Demand Planning Lead on S&OP meetings preparation

1. Process improvement: Deploy a NPL forecasting tool and process on the brand

Qualifications

• Student of engineering or business school, or 3rd cycle with supply chain specialization.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in independently and in a multicultural environment.
• Strong Excel Skill. Familiarity with Access or SAP would be a plus.
• Must be fully proficient in English, able to follow English-language meetings and phone call.
