Investor Relations Specialist

Freelancer.com is on the hunt for a Investor Relations / Marketing Communications Specialist to join the wider Marketing & Communications team. 

We're seeking a dynamic specialist to join our team in a unique hybrid role spanning both marketing communications and investor relations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our corporate narrative across multiple stakeholder groups while driving our marketing initiatives forward.

Although we’re a global company, we’re a startup at heart with a flat hierarchy, meaning you’ll be able to get direct access to senior leadership and have an opportunity to manage and lead any creative media ideas you might have.

On a typical day, you may be working on a mix of the following:

Marketing Communications (50%)

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communications strategies
• Create compelling content for various channels including social media, blog posts, newsletters, and website
• Manage PR initiatives and media relationships
• Coordinate with product teams to communicate new features and updates
• Track and analyse marketing metrics to optimise communication strategies

Investor Relations (50%)

• Assist in preparing quarterly earnings releases, annual reports, and investor presentations
• Support the development of IR materials and corporate communications
• Help maintain the investor relations website section
• Coordinate investor meetings and earnings calls
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities

And when work is done, hang out with the team in our in-house, fully-stocked bar with Harbour views!

Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in marketing communications
• Demonstrated experience in financial communications or investor relations
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Strong understanding of digital marketing channels
• Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision making
