Description

You will lead the team responsible for the entire Notification experience (User Notifications API, Notification Center UI, banners, long-looks, and the back-end powering those experiences) on iOS and iPadOS, along with key shared technologies on macOS, watchOS, and visionOS. Notifications and Notification Center are fundamental to the experience of Apple platforms and you will be responsible for coordinating and executing features and architecture improvements that blend seamlessly with the overall system experience. • Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies, architecture, and design
• Prior experience developing API/SPI as an extensible platform
• Open-minded with strong collaboration skills
• Charismatic leader capable of inspiring your team and others to action
• Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to think laterally and ask incisive (and sometimes foolish) questions
• Sense of prioritization, ability to question the status quo, and focus on what matters
• Experience developing user-facing features with UIKit, SwiftUI, or other application frameworks

• Previous UNIX systems programming experience
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $219,300 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
