The IT Business Partner Order to Cash will play a crucial role in aligning technology, processes, and workplace solutions to support the digital transformation program of BD. This position requires a deep understanding of the order to cash business process and enabling systems such as ERP (S4 HANA), order automation, EDI, and other digital solution trends. This will allow you to have true impact on the efficiency and user experience of our EMEA order to cash teams and act as a trusted partner for them, jointly implementing strategic solutions. You're not on your own: you will work closely with BD IT centers of excellence and best of class vendors across the world in an exciting, growing medical technology environment that is helping improve the life of patients around the world.

The IT Business Partner Order to Cash will play a crucial role in aligning technology, processes, and workplace solutions to support the digital transformation program of BD. This position requires a deep understanding of the order to cash business process and enabling systems such as ERP (S4 HANA), order automation, EDI, and other digital solution trends. This will allow you to have true impact on the efficiency and user experience of our EMEA order to cash teams and act as a trusted partner for them, jointly implementing strategic solutions. You're not on your own: you will work closely with BD IT centers of excellence and best of class vendors across the world in an exciting, growing medical technology environment that is helping improve the life of patients around the world.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Establish and maintain strategic partner relationships with EMEA order to cash teams, business process transformation team, IT centers of excellence and strategic IT vendors
• Plan and evaluate new joint initiatives, proposals, and determine their fit into roadmaps and priorities.
• See opportunities for the adoption of order to cash automation systems (S4 HANA, Esker, OpenText, AI...) and ensure their integration with BD's enterprise roadmaps.
• Ensure consistent and effective communication of project and initiative progress, manage escalations, and mitigate risks.
• Lead implementation of projects and enhancements in the order to cash system environment, with solid focus on being able to drive user requirement clarification, scope management, data migration strategy and execution, end to end test planning and execution as well as risk based cutover strategies.
• Find opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5 years demonstrated ability in IT roles with a focus on order to cash (sales and distribution) ERP and digitalisation / automation processes.
• Strong knowledge of ERP software (S4 HANA) order to cash modules is a must.
• Demonstrated experience in managing IT (ERP) projects, including system implementations and integrations with multi-functional teams.
• Fluent English.
• Ability to think strategically and find opportunities for improvement. Strong analytical skills to use data to drive decision-making.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical collaborators, geographically spread around the world.
• Knowledge of the latest technology trends and their application in an order to cash setting.
