POSITION OVERVIEW

The IT Endpoint Analyst I is knowledgeable on the usage and support of IT endpoint hardware and software assets in the company. The IT Endpoint Analyst performs the standardization, management, and tracking of Gentex Corporation's endpoint assets including but not limited to computers, scanners, printers and mobile devices.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform managing and tracking of endpoint assets through data analysis to educate end users on current and future endpoint needs.
• Performs analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications.
• Performs testing and analysis of computer software on hardware such as computers, scanners, and mobile devices.
• Communicates and consults with the business end users to support their hardware endpoint needs.
• Performs testing on various machine operating systems to ensure computer software compatibility.
• Works closely within IT to perform issue resolution and support.
• Performs replacement of outdated endpoint devices.
• Develops proactive approach to manage endpoint lifecycle.
• Sets up endpoint hardware for larger scale projects.
• Ensures the regular review of current newly acquired asset standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Provide direct customer support in the endpoint environment.
• Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer centric solutions.
• Actively learn through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning experiences.
• Ability to handle numerous tasks and personalities in a dynamic environment.
• Maintain a courteous and professional manner in line with a service department.
• Respond to customer requests and needs promptly and efficiently.
• Complying with all Company policies and procedures, safety regulations, company safety policies and safely perform all duties, including but not limited to, promoting a safe workplace.
• Maintaining high level of honesty, integrity and confidentiality with respect to company matters.

WHAT TO BRING

• A 2-year degree in a computer related field or comparable work experience.
• One to two years of experience in endpoint hardware and software asset management.
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

WHAT WILL HELP

• Windows PowerShell experience.
• Microsoft Windows Client OS experience.
• Working knowledge of the Gentex asset management system.
• Reporting analytics experience.
