IT Project Manager

Job Description:

The U.S. Forest Service (FS) seeks support services for the development and operation and maintenance of the VIPR application, which is utilized to acquire a broad range of software assistance services that are readily available. The services support Forest Service Procurement and Property Services (PPS) in continuing development, operation, and maintenance of the VIPR application.

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have an understanding of technology and software development
• Excellent leadership skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
• Personable and able to work with individuals at all levels
• Ability to plan, organize, and structure work
• U.S Citizenship required

Nice to Have Skills

• Certified PMP, CSM or other Agile certification

Education and Experience:

• 7-10 years
• Bachelor’s in business administration, IT, or any related field

Clearance Requirement:

• Ability to obtain Public Trust

Salary

• $110k- $130k dependent upon experience
