Job Description

ASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC. (AFSS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

AFSS is seeking an ITSystems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ground Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Service (GMASS) program.

Key Role:

• Plans, develops, delivers, and deploys configuration managed updates to GMASS-covered systems capabilities with no negative impact to mission performance and GMASS requirements while maximizing operational availability and cyber security.
• Performs design and implementation of IT systems that require the integration of diverse and complex components.
• Defines operational requirements including integration with other systems or components, researching and modeling the system architecture and configuration, investigation alternatives, cost analysis and estimation, and decision analysis.
• Provides specific, detailed information for selection and implementation of solutions including present and future capacity requirements, facility requirements (including floor layout, power cooling, network connectivity), data storage, backup, monitoring, operations systems, directory services, identity management, access management, and automation.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Technical experience and knowledge of developing, implementing, and supporting mission system support systems
• Typical education and experience: Bachelors and five (5) years or more experience; Masters and three (3) years or more experience; PhD and 0 years related experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• Current Security + CE.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience and knowledge of the Upgraded Early Warning Radar (UEWR) System and the Perimeter AcquisitionRadar Attach Characterizaiton Systems (PARCS) and their architectures.

This position is offering a pay range of $85,000.00- $105,000.00 depending on experience, seniority, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law.
