About the job
We’re looking for both starting and experienced Software Engineers to join our Scrum teams. As part of one of those teams you will help us architect, build and scale our software. You will work on development tasks in Java, JavaScript, and Node.js, while using technologies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS). As a Software Engineer at Blue Conic you will explore new technologies and tools and make recommendations about the right selection and use of technologies. Naturally you will pro-actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and help creating ambitious and realistic quarterly plans together with your team.

We are looking for someone with at least some of the following skills:

• Experience with developing in Java and/or Node.js
• Experience with creating and designing RESTful APIs
• Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks or libraries, mobile development, Python
• Experience in a high-traffic DevOps environment where code needs to be continually optimized and improved
• Experience with distributed data systems like Apache Cassandra, Apache Spark, Solr, Docker and/or Amazon Web services
• Experience with Big Data and Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence
