Java Tech Lead/Architect

[Job Description]

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Java Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive front-end and back-end experience, proven leadership skills, and a strong background in architecting cloud-based applications. This role requires hands-on experience with GCP, Azure, and PCF.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of 15-20 developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Architect, design, and develop scalable and high-performance applications for the cloud.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Manage the entire software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, and testing.

[Key Requirements]
 

• 10+ years of software engineer experience with Core Java based multi tier platform
• 5+ years of development experience with Javascript & ReactJS
• 5+ years of experience with NoSQL - MonogoDB and other document db
• 5+ years of Cloud development experience
• 5+ years of Devops and development automation to cloud envs5+
• Spring, springboot, Micro Services, Micro front ends, GitHub, Splunk, messaging/Kafka, Scrum/Agile

[Additional Skills]

• knowledge of widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
• Knowledge and understanding of technology architecture: solutions development
• knowledge and understanding of complex enterprise systems and frameworks including frontends, middleware layer, database, backend and downstream interfaces
• Wealth and Investment Management domain experience.
