Javascript Backend Developer

Job Summary

As a backend developer, you will play a crucial part in building and maintaining an extensive and distributed environment consisting of multiple micro services. Your expertise will be pivotal in shaping the architecture, schema definitions, and best practices across the organization, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, implement, and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs, focusing on scalability, performance, and security;
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure reliability and performances;
  
• Participation in the complete cycle of development from requirements gathering, development and testing.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in NodeJS and Typescript;
  
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and transitioning from REST to GraphQL;
  
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases;
  
• Experience working with agile/scrum teams;
  
• Experience in troubleshooting production issues.
  

Highly Desirable Skills

• Experience with Apollo Federation and distributed GraphQL architectures;
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (e.g., Git), and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus;
  
• Experience with Front-end frameworks such as React.js.
