Tarkett est à la recherche d'un directeur des ressources humaines pour son usine de fabrication syndiquée de Farnham, au Québec. Ce poste relèvera du directeur principal, Ressources humaines, et une ligne pointillée sera communiquée au directeur des opérations et du site. Cette personne exécutera la stratégie des RH dans plusieurs domaines fonctionnels au sein du service des RESSOURCES HUMAINES, y compris la gestion des talents et du rendement, le recrutement, les relations de travail et avec les employés, la formation et le perfectionnement, les avantages sociaux, la conformité réglementaire et les rapports et analyses des RH.

Dans ce poste, vous aurez l'occasion de :

  • GĂ©rer et exĂ©cuter des stratĂ©gies de ressources humaines dans tous les domaines fonctionnels, programmes et pratiques des RH, comme la gestion des talents, la dotation, l'intĂ©gration, la planification de la relève, les relations avec les employĂ©s et le travail, la gestion du rendement, l'efficacitĂ© de l'organisation, la formation et le perfectionnement et les politiques des RH.

  • Diriger le pilier du dĂ©veloppement des personnes dans l'environnement WCM, planifier et organiser tous les types de programmes de formation pour tous les niveaux d'employĂ©s, maintenir les KPI locaux et aider les dirigeants locaux Ă  dĂ©velopper leurs employĂ©s.

  • Responsable de la coordination de la nĂ©gociation de la convention collective, du soutien de la direction dans l'interprĂ©tation de la convention collective, de l'harmonisation des actions de l'entreprise et de la gestion de la rĂ©ponse aux demandes, aux griefs, etc.

  • Établir des partenariats avec les dirigeants et les employĂ©s afin de contribuer aux rĂ©sultats de l’entreprise et de crĂ©er une culture positive tout en favorisant l’engagement des employĂ©s.

  • Veiller Ă  ce que les efforts soient synchronisĂ©s avec les initiatives ministĂ©rielles en matière de RH.

  • GĂ©rer tous les programmes d'avantages sociaux (assurance collective et rĂ©gime de retraite), nĂ©gocier avec le courtier et la compagnie d'assurance, rechercher la rentabilitĂ© et diriger le comitĂ© de retraite.

  • Influencer le changement et l'innovation pour faire progresser les stratĂ©gies et les opĂ©rations de l'usine. Travailler en Ă©troite collaboration avec l'Ă©quipe de direction pour fournir des solutions qui rĂ©pondent aux besoins de l'entreprise et stimuler et changer les initiatives pour amĂ©liorer le rendement.

  • Diriger les initiatives de gestion des talents de l'usine, en travaillant avec l'Ă©quipe de direction de l'usine, y compris l'Ă©valuation des employĂ©s, le dĂ©veloppement, l'efficacitĂ© de l'organisation et la planification de la relève. PrĂ©parer le matĂ©riel nĂ©cessaire pour les rĂ©unions rĂ©gionales d'Ă©talonnage de l'examen des talents.

  • Diriger et participer aux efforts de recrutement du cycle complet, y compris attirer et Ă©valuer les capacitĂ©s des candidats, travailler de manière productive avec des partenaires de recherche externes, des candidats et des clients internes ; et aider Ă  gĂ©rer l'orientation des nouveaux employĂ©s.

  • Maintenir le respect de la lĂ©gislation sur l'Ă©quitĂ© salariale et de l'Office de la langue française.

  • Stimuler les efforts d'engagement des employĂ©s grâce Ă  l'exĂ©cution d'un sondage semestriel sur la rĂ©troaction des employĂ©s et d'un sondage mensuel sur le pouls, Ă  l'analyse des rĂ©sultats et Ă  l'Ă©laboration et Ă  l'exactitude de la stratĂ©gie d'engagement.

  • GĂ©rer les relations avec les employĂ©s et aider Ă  conseiller les employĂ©s et Ă  mener des entrevues de dĂ©part.

  • Mesurer et stimuler l'amĂ©lioration des mesures / tableau de bord clĂ©s des RH en exĂ©cutant des rapports, en analysant les donnĂ©es et en fournissant des recommandations aux rh et Ă  la direction de l'usine pour permettre des dĂ©cisions commerciales solides.

  • Formation croisĂ©e avec d'autres collègues des RH et de la paie pour s'assurer que les sorties de sauvegarde et de couverture dans l'ensemble de la fonction, y compris la comprĂ©hension des horaires et du système de chronomĂ©trage et la prĂ©paration des documents de paie au besoin.

  • Supporter l’équipe et la direction des ventes selon les besoins.

  • Assurer la conformitĂ© aux règlements provinciaux concernant l'emploi et les relations de travail.

  • S'acquitter d'autres tâches connexes, au besoin, et qui lui sont assignĂ©es.

Pour réussir dans ce poste, vous aurez besoin de :

  • Un baccalaurĂ©at en relations industrielles ou en ressources humaines plus cinq (5) Ă  sept (7) ans d'expĂ©rience en ressources humaines, dont un minimum de trois (3) ans dans un environnement de fabrication syndiquĂ© requis ; ou une combinaison Ă©quivalente d'Ă©tudes et d'expĂ©rience. 

  • CapacitĂ© de lire, d'Ă©crire et de parler couramment le français et l'anglais.

  • Pour ĂŞtre une personne pratique, travaillez dans l'atelier avec l'Ă©quipe de direction et faites bouger les choses.

  • Agir en tant qu'agent de changement et remettre en question les processus locaux pour amĂ©liorer l'efficacitĂ©.

  • La connaissance d'un programme d'amĂ©lioration continue comme WCM serait un atout.

  • MaĂ®trise de la suite MS Office (y compris Word, Excel, PowerPoint et Outlook). Connaissance de Workday serait prĂ©fĂ©rable.

  • La capacitĂ© d'Ă©tablir des relations solides et d'Ă©tablir des liens interpersonnels solides.

Tarkett is seeking a Human Resources Manager for their unionized manufacturing facility in Farnham, Quebec. This position will be reporting to the Sr. Director, Human Resources and dotted line to the Operations/Site Director. This individual will execute HR strategy across multiple functional areas within the HR department including talent and performance management, recruiting, employee and labor relations, training and development, benefits, regulatory compliance and HR reporting and analytics.

In this position you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage and execute human resources strategies in all HR functional areas, programs and practices such as talent management, staffing, on-boarding, succession planning, employee and labor relations, performance management, organization effectiveness, training and development and HR policies.

  • Lead the People Development Pillar within the WCM environment, plan and organize all type of training programs for all level of employees, maintain local KPI and support local leaders to develop their employees.

  • Responsible for coordinating the collective agreement negotiation, for supporting management in the interpretation of the collective agreement, ensuring company actions are aligned and manage responding to requests, grievances, etc.

  • Partner with plant leaders and employees to enhance business results by enabling a positive culture and driving increased level of employee engagement.

  • Ensure efforts are synchronized with corporate HR initiatives.

  • Manage all benefits programs (group insurance and pension plan), negotiate with broker and insurance company, search cost effectiveness and lead the pension committee.

  • Influence change and innovation to advance plant strategies and operations. Work closely with the leadership team to deliver solutions that meet business needs and drive and change initiatives to improve performance.

  • Lead the plant talent management initiatives, working with the plant leadership team, including employee assessment, development, organization effectiveness, and succession planning. Prepare necessary materials for regional talent review calibration meetings.

  • Lead and participate in full cycle recruitment efforts including attracting and assessing candidate capabilities, work productively with outside search partners, candidates, and internal clients; and assist in managing new hire orientation.

  • Maintain compliance with the Salary Equity legislation and with “l’Office de la Langue Française”.

  • Drive employee engagement efforts through execution of bi-annual employee feedback survey and monthly Pulse Survey, analysis of results, and development and exaction of engagement strategy.

  • Manage employee relations and assist in counseling employees and conducting exit interviews.

  • Measure and drive improvement of key HR metrics/scorecard by running reports, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to HR and Plant leadership to enable strong business decisions.

  • Cross-train with other HR/Payroll colleagues to ensure back up and coverage exits across the function including understanding schedules and timekeeping system and preparing payroll documents when needed.

  • Support the Canadian sales management and team across Canada.

  • Ensure compliance with provincial regulations concerning employment and labor relations.

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources plus five (5) to seven (7) years of Human Resources experience including a minimum of three (3) years in an unionized manufacturing environment required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read, write and speak French and English fluently.

  • To be a hands-on person, work on the shop floor with the management team and make things happen.

  • Act as a change agent and question the local processes to improve effectiveness.

  • Knowledge of a continuous improvement program like WCM would be an asset.

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Knowledge of Workday would be preferred.

  • The ability to build strong relationships and establish strong interpersonal connections.

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Recognized as a well-organized and autonomous person and has the ability to be a great team player.
