Job Description

Reporting into Manager of Data Applications, you will produce analysis, design and implement well tested data solutions to meet requirements with the assistance of senior team members.

What you'll do?

• Work within a Data Scrum team to complete the ETL processes and perform audits to assess data quality and structure, focusing on the products we are responsible for.
• Provide ongoing support for systems and products, addressing queries or issues related to data builds managed by the team.
• Understand the structure and relationships within the data.
• Collaborate in the initiation and implementation of automated solutions, including coding and testing, with support from senior team members.
• Report any issues to senior team members and propose potential solutions to ensure resolution.
• Ensure testing is conducted at each stage of the data development process to maintain data integrity.
• Create clear, accurate, and concise documentation for supported products.
• Work with experts from different fields, such as Data Science, Modeling, Software Development, GIS, and QA, to develop the best solutions.
• Partner with project owners to ensure smooth project execution and delivery, contributing to the successful completion of each project.

Qualifications

What you'll bring?

• A background in database technologies, including design and data manipulation.
• Basic programming and development skills.
• Proficiency in MS excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets).
• Experience or familiarity with SQL.
• Experience or familiarity with Python programming.
• Data managing skills for development tasks within a project.
• Excellent numeracy skills.
• Develop expertise in your field to provide valuable guidance and contribute to the division's business success.
