Junior Data Engineer

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will translate business requirements into technical solutions, analyse current practices, and identify future opportunities. You will support data design services, deliver architectures for data transformations, and build modern data pipelines and APIs. Your work will expose data to end users and implement effective metrics and monitoring processes. Together we do what matters.

What you will do:

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions with strong business acumen

• Analyse current business practices and identify future opportunities

• Support planning and implementation of data design services

• Deliver architectures for data transformations using cloud technologies

• Design and build modern data pipelines and data streams

• Develop and maintain data warehouse schematics and databases

• Expose data to end users using modern visualisation platforms

Skills and experiences

• Demonstrated experience turning business use cases into technical solutions

• Experience in business process mapping of data and analytics solutions

• Ability to conduct data profiling, cataloguing, and mapping for technical design

• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL DW, and Azure SQL

• Experience preparing data for Data Science and Machine Learning

• Strong team collaboration and experience working with remote teams
