Children can interact with Storypod through multiple age-appropriate ways - lovable yarn-figurines, read-along books, interactive learning cards, and collectible tokens - that trigger immersive stories, music, and learning content.

We are looking for an experienced and versatile Product Manager - ideally with a background in consumer product design and development. You are proactive – a critical and creative thinker with a demonstrated design-sense and an ability to be resourceful to support our physical Product Development efforts. You'll work in close collaboration with our Head of Product, content production team, industrial designers, and software/hardware developers.

Your Responsibilities:

• 0-to-1 Product Development – own the design and development of new physical consumer products that integrate with our screen-free Audio System
• Develop roadmaps to strategically evolve and grow our existing product lines to constantly deliver a better customer experience for kids and parents alike
• Conduct frequent customer feedback/interviews, qualitative and quantitative research, and assessments of product usage
• Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of the products and projects
• Write clear and concise product requirements focused on describing the customer need, context, constraints, business goals and communicate them to all collaborating parties internally and externally
• Proactively identify and resolve roadblocks and dependencies within the company’s product roadmap, and balance business and customer needs with technical and resource constraints

Your Qualifications / Background:

• Degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent knowledge
• Experience managing delivery of 1 or more products in the consumer space
• Experience managing and overseeing multiple on-going initiatives simultaneously
• Pragmatic and adaptable approach to product management applying best practices, but always on the lookout for new approaches to try - knowing when to build a quick and dirty experiment and when to build at scale
• Keen understanding of customer behavior and user centric design - grounded in qualitative and quantitative user insights whenever possible
• Understanding the tools of the trade and technologies used today, but also not afraid to dive in to new systems and procedures alike
