Description and Requirements

• Monitor server and storage infrastructure health and performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic server and storage-related issues
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like patching, upgrades, and firmware updates
• Provide first-level support for server and storage-related incidents
• Document and escalate complex issues to higher-level support teams
• Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and meet service delivery objectives
• Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Skills and Experience

• Basic understanding of server hardware (Dell, HP, IBM) and storage systems (SAN, NAS)
• Proficiency in server and storage operating systems (Windows Server, Linux)
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Basic understanding of storage protocols (FC, iSCSI, NFS)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and ability1 to multitask

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in server and storage technologies (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, VCP) (preferred)
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in server and storage administration
