Lab Assistant, Bioanalytical Extraction & Compound Formulation (Contract)

Boundless Bio (BBI) a, Inc. (Nasdaq:BOLD) is a San Diego-based, clinical-stage, oncology company interrogating an exciting new area of cancer biology, extrachromosomal DNA (“ecDNA”), to revolutionize the way cancer is treated.

We are seeking a Lab Assistant on our DMPK team to join us on a temporary basis (at least 6 months) to focus on bioanalytical extraction for HPLC-MS analysis, as well as compound formulation for in-vivo pharmacology studies.  The motivated candidate is either a recent graduate or nearing graduation with a degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry. This role will provide hands-on experience with bioanalytical techniques, specifically HPLC-MS, and will also require proficiency in pipetting and the use of analytical scales.  This position will require no more than 32 hours per week.

Education/Experience:

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field; candidates nearing graduation are also welcome to apply.
• Familiarity with HPLC and mass spectrometry is highly desirable.
• Previous laboratory experience, particularly in bioanalytical methods, would be advantageous.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $25.00 to $35.00. The final hourly rate offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, education, etc.
